Chief Operational Officer

Progeny has announced the latest appointment in its recent restructure. Sam Murton, who has been working with Progeny as a consultant since 2022, has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer.

Sam brings extensive experience in international business consulting, strategic development and people and change management.

She has worked with a diverse range of businesses and sectors, including Aegon, easyJet, Three, Orange (EE) and Next plc, supporting companies with scalability and global expansion.

As Chief Operating Officer, her role will be to galvanise Progeny’s strategic plans into the roadmap for the future.

Following her appointment, Sam commented:

Progeny is on an exciting growth trajectory and having known the team for a number of months, I’m inspired to be surrounded by such a wealth of expertise and ambition, under the dynamic leadership of Neil Moles.

Joining Progeny as it launches into the international space brings huge opportunity, with the ability to offer its unique professional services proposition, through the lens of UK regulatory standards, to clients in overseas territories.

With such a solid foundation already in place, I can focus on instilling scalability and capacity via the pillars of Consumer Duty and my ambition is that Progeny is viewed globally as a standard-bearer for professional excellence.

Progeny CEO, Neil Moles, said:

Sam’s global experience with big brands speaks for itself and will support Progeny’s international growth.

With a unique blend of business management and inspirational leadership Sam is a visionary operator who has a natural ability to captivate, guide and direct teams to success.

In keeping with our recent key senior appointments, bringing Sam into the business in this role is designed to ensure that Progeny has the right team and expertise in place to deliver on its long-term strategy.
