years of experience, and a previous pension arrangement that lacked personal care and long-term planning, Paddy realised he needed a more thoughtful and trusted approach to managing his This gave him the confidence to build a long-term relationship, focused not only on his own future, but on supporting his wider family as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Read his story below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;As an entrepreneur, it\u2019s very easy to become completely wrapped up in your own business. There\u2019s an old analogy that illustrates this well: if you look at a professional decorator\u2019s house, the windows are often falling apart because they\u2019re too busy working on other people\u2019s homes. In the same way, it\u2019s easy to fall into the trap of neglecting your own affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, the wake-up call came when I saw the benefits of compound interest from a pension scheme I\u2019d invested in. Around that time, a friend of mine had been working with Progeny for a couple of years, and my business partner had also been introduced to John Francis. They had worked together for some time and were both very happy, which gave me a strong benchmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I initially had a conversation with John Francis and stayed in touch for a couple of years. After my business partner moved across, and having seen the tangible results Progeny had achieved for both him and my friend, the decision became relatively straightforward. Over time, I met the broader team, including his assistant Carmen, who is excellent, as well as the legal team who handled the wills and the accountants who manage the tax returns. I can contact Carmen to set up a call with John, and he always responds promptly and provides the answers I need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In terms of outcomes, I\u2019ve been doing a lot of travelling over the past four years, virtually all over the world, which has been fantastic. I also now have a wonderful retirement home that\u2019s fully paid for, as well as some investment properties. Overall, I\u2019ve built a portfolio that is performing very well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All the essentials are taken care of: my will is in place, my tax returns are handled each year, and I have an investment strategy that we review and adjust as needed.
