Scott is a Chartered Financial Planner based in Progeny’s Cambridge office. He specialises in providing strategic, tax-focused financial planning advice to high net-worth clients and families across the region; his approach is centred on efficient structuring and long-term performance.

Scott has 19 years’ of experience in both the domestic UK and the international industry, including the Middle East and the Channel Islands having previously worked for HSBC International, Evelyn Partners, Brewin Dolphin and Barclays Private Bank.

Scott is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS), he holds a degree in Economics and has numerous additional qualifications in Financial Planning and Investment Management. Scott believes in continuous ongoing improvement and he is currently undertaking the Chartered Tax Advice (CTA) qualification in order to further reinforce his tax-focused approach to financial planning in the private client context.

Outside of his career, Scott’s main passion is mountaineering and rock climbing where he often climbs in Europe, mainly Spain and throughout the Alps. Scott believes that the necessary preparation, resilience to challenges, including the appreciation of risk, and the commitment required to succeed in this arena, are qualities that underpin his approach to working with clients to help them meet their financial ambitions.

He also enjoys cycling and maintaining an active lifestyle. Other interests include history and travel.
