At The Progeny Group we are committed to providing clients with the best website possible. As part of our commitment, we are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve website accessibility. The Progeny website aims to conform with WCAG 2.1 level A standards.

This includes:

  • Non-text content (images and videos) have a text equivalent when applicable, for example including captions on our video content
  • Users are able to access content using only a keyboard
  • Forms include labels or instructions, so users know what’s expected of them
  • Assistive technologies, such as screen readers, are able to access content
  • Information or instructions are not conveyed through shape, size or colour alone
  • Text and background use good colour contrast
  • Content is organised under clear headings, using a logical order
  • Elements that affect navigation are consistent across the site
