Alex Jackson is a Chartered Financial Planner based in Cambridge, working with clients across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. With more than a decade of experience in financial services, including six years advising clients directly, he helps individuals, families, professionals, retirees and high-net-worth individuals gain greater clarity, confidence and control over their financial future.
His professional qualifications include the Level 6 Diploma in Advanced Financial Advice (Adv DipFA), the Level 6 Award in Pension Transfers (PETR), the Certificate in Long Term Care and Later Life Planning (CertLTCP) and the Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of knowledge and advice.

Alex believes effective financial planning starts with understanding what matters most to each client. Using a goals-based approach, he helps clients build a clear plan for the future, combining strategies such as retirement planning, cashflow modelling, tax-efficient investing and estate planning. Through regular reviews and ongoing support, he helps clients stay on track as their circumstances, legislation and financial priorities evolve.
Building Lasting Relationships
Alex enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and their families, helping them navigate complex financial decisions with confidence. One experience that shaped his approach was helping a couple prepare for retirement. Although one spouse sadly passed away before retirement, the plans they had put in place provided lasting financial security and peace of mind for the surviving partner. It reinforced Alex’s belief that good financial planning is about more than finances. It’s about helping people feel secure when it matters most.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys walking, hiking, keeping active in the gym and following football. He also enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures and discovering the history of the places he visits.
