Govind Randhawa

Govind joined Progeny in June 2026 as an Associate Financial Planner through the Academy programme. He is based in the Nottingham NG2 office at The Triangle and is currently training to become a fully qualified financial planner.

He is part qualified and progressing in line with the Academy pathway. Govind also holds a 2:1 BSc in Politics and Economics from Aston University, providing a strong foundation in economic analysis, policy and decision making.

Govind brings a commercially driven and client focused approach to financial planning, with particular strength in supporting business owners and entrepreneurs. He draws on experience gained at Ernst and Young, alongside first hand insight from running his own retail business. This background gives him a practical understanding of the financial challenges faced by business owners, including cash flow management, growth planning and balancing personal and business finances.

He has also gained exposure to the commodities industry, further strengthening his commercial perspective and understanding of complex markets. Govind is passionate about building long term client relationships and helping business owners make informed financial decisions with clarity and confidence, both during periods of growth and at key transition points.

Outside of work, Govind enjoys staying active and trains in wrestling. He has also practiced Muay Thai from a young age and volunteers by teaching it at his local Gurdwara, where classes are free and open to all. He also has a strong interest in travel, exploring different cultures, and spending time outdoors with his Rottweiler, Kaiser.
