Barry Maskell

Director of Client Proposition
Leeds
Barry Maskell

Barry joined Progeny in March 2026 as Director of Client Proposition. He is responsible for shaping and overseeing client propositions, ensuring they are clear, compliant, and deliver real value across the full client journey from advice to investments. A key focus of his role is making sure both clients and colleagues clearly understand the proposition and the benefits it provides.

Based in Leeds, Barry holds a degree in Accounting and Finance and is a Chartered Accountant (CIMA).

Outside of work, Barry is a keen sportsman, having competed in triathlons at international level, including representing Great Britain, and completing multiple Ironman events. He enjoys staying active, spending time in the Lake District, and supporting family life, including coaching his son’s under‑10s football team. As a family, they also enjoy travelling, particularly city and cultural breaks (ideally with a pool for the children).
