Dan joined Progeny in 2022 as part of the acquisition of The RU Group. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, as well as being a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Dan originally trained and worked as a Chartered Accountant before developing a strong interest in financial planning and actioning a career switch around 15 years ago.

Dan is from Sheffield and based in our Sheffield office

Outside of work, Dan is a Sheffield United fan and ‘enjoys’ watching The Blades snatch defeat from the jaws of victory regularly. He is a qualified FA ‘County’ level referee which he insists is character building if nothing else. Dan is married to Claire, and they have three fast-growing-up children!
