Paul joined Progeny in 2026 bringing with him over 25 years of senior management experience, spanning operational, governance, and strategic leadership roles. His career has encompassed key positions within major asset management organisations, including a decade as Director at Old Mutual’s UK asset management businesses. During this period, Paul served as Chief Operating Officer of Old Mutual Global Investors, overseeing a remarkable fivefold increase in assets under management, achieved through both acquisition and organic growth.

Paul’s expertise extends to the institutional investment sector, where he has held Chief Operating Officer roles with the Church Commissioners and Railpen. Today, Paul operates as an independent consultant, coach, non-executive director, and interim executive, offering his extensive experience to a diverse range of clients and projects.

Originally qualified as a Solicitor, Paul also holds an MBA from INSEAD. His qualifications underpin a deep understanding of legal, financial, and organisational complexities within the investment industry.

Outside of work, he is the proud parent of two grown-up children and pursues interests in cycling, the arts, and travel.
