Simon Ware

Chartered Financial Planner
Worthing

Simon has been an Independent Financial Planner since 1992, with a career in financial services spanning over 40 years. Simon commenced his career working within banking, first at Midland Bank, then Santander, a Private Office and then Lloyds. He is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and read Law at the University of Sussex.

Simon has an interest in the history of investing and financial planning and thrives on being challenged, then having the opportunity to demonstrate evidence-based conclusions. This gives clients confidence that their plans will meet their objectives. It may also provide reassurance as well as peace of mind; especially in times of turbulent markets and ever changing legislation.

Simon came to Progeny as part of The Fry Group integration in 2024, having been with The Fry Group for 22 years. At Progeny, our colleagues’ depth of knowledge in complimentary disciplines (Wills, Trusts, Expatriate affairs, personal taxation, ultra-high net worth planning and more) allows Simon to offer an all encompassing service in pursuit of the best possible outcomes for clients.

Simon’s hobbies include travelling; safaris in particular, gardening, cooking, most sports, autobiographies and literature in the sciences. Simon supports many wildlife charities and plans to keep bees as soon as possible.
