Andrea Hodgson

Andrea, an experienced board director and committee chair, has over 25 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector. Her expertise spans deep financial, corporate governance and practical change management.
Andrea has held various executive and non-executive positions on Bank boards. She served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and as Senior Independent Director and Audit Chair. She also served as Deputy Chair for a large NHS Foundation Trust.
Before transitioning into the financial services industry, Andrea qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG. In her executive role, she was responsible for securing funding and investment, banking licence applications, acquisitions and integrations, restructuring and strategy development.
A member of INSEAD, Andrea holds a certificate in corporate governance. She currently serves as the Audit Chair for GB Bank and provides board advisory services to Scale Digital Marketing Agency.
Andrea resides in North Wales with her husband and their golden Labrador. With both children having grown up and flown the nest, she cherishes the opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends.
