John Francis 650×650

John joined Progeny in 2019 through the acquisition of his financial planning firm Quest Financial Solutions. As a founding Director of Quest, John has always had a passion for providing clients with a personal and holistic solution to their finances. Having recently been privileged to step into the Managing Director role at Progeny Wealth, John now combines his passion for client work with his commitment to helping lead the business into its next phase of growth and strategic direction.

John spent three and a half years in the Royal Navy after leaving school before he ventured into the world of financial services. The youngest of five (with four sisters), John has always pushed himself physically and mentally. He worked hard to achieve the dreams and aspirations he set for himself at an early age. He likes the outdoors and exploring with recent trips including working on a 5th generation cowboy ranch in Montana, kayaking the Norwegian fjords, camping in the Canadian Rockies and climbing the Gros Piton in St Lucia.

Passionate about sport and travel, John hopes to attend a range of international sporting events over the coming years, inspired by his latest experience at the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York. His ultimate goal, however, is a more personal challenge —  he hopes to one day have the time to walk the full length of the Pacific Crest Trail.
