Mark Devine

Financial Planner
Edinburgh

Mark joined Progeny in 2021 through The Fry Group’s Dubai office, before relocating back to Scotland in 2025 where he continued his role within the business. With experience across several areas of financial services — including positions as a Client Executive, Paraplanner and now Financial Planner — he brings a well‑rounded understanding of the planning process and the support clients need at every stage of their journey.

As a Financial Planner, he focuses on building long‑term relationships grounded in open and honest conversation. His approach centres on understanding each client’s circumstances, ambitions and concerns, then creating and maintaining a financial plan designed to help them achieve their goals with clarity and confidence.

Mark holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and the J10 qualification in discretionary investment management, and he is continuing his professional development with the aim of achieving Chartered status.

Outside of work, Mark loves spending time with his young daughter and watching her grow and develop. He also enjoys travelling, socialising, live music and running.
