Stuart McCulloch

Stuart joined Progeny in December 2025 and is based in our Dubai office where he is CEO.

In 2018 Stuart joined The Fry Group to set up and manage the first Middle East operation in Dubai, which is now known as Progeny after the acquisition of The Fry Group in 2024. He has consistently strived to support best practice and raise standards across the local financial services industry, and his work saw their Middle East office awarded Best Adviser Middle East by International Adviser in the first year of operation.

Previously Stuart enjoyed a variety of senior roles in the UK and Middle East. He served as Head of Operations for both the Bank of Singapore and Coutts & Co, both in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and before that held the position of Regional Manager at Standard Life in the UK.

Stuart holds the Diploma in Personal Finance through the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), and the International Compliance Diploma through Manchester University Business School.

Stuart spends a lot of his time out and about with his family and their two bulldogs. He enjoys keeping fit through gym and cycling and is also a qualified scuba diver. Stuart is passionate about Scottish Rugby and football teams and has long been a supporter of Dubai’s Rugby 7s tournament.
