With three young daughters, Colin appreciates first hand the importance of financial planning.
Having moved into financial services after studying Philosophy at university, Colin draws on his early studies by continuing to question and challenge preconceptions.
His advisory career began in 1999 with a large Edinburgh-based life assurance company, during which time he advised corporate clients on the implementation of their employee benefit programmes before moving on to assist private clients with their planning needs.
Colin has developed his expertise and skills over the years, gaining a specialist knowledge of tax and trust planning.
He has also developed his own understanding of the principles of risk and reward through his hobbies of climbing and adventure running, experiences of which he applies to the advisory role.
