Sam is a Chartered Financial Planner at Progeny, having joined the firm in August 2018. After studying Mathematics & Economics at Newcastle University, he always knew he wanted a role that combined the two but that was also out there building meaningful relationships with clients. Since entering the world of financial advice, he has never looked back.

Sam is a now a Fellow of the Professional Finance Society, their most prestigious level of professional achievement, which is only held by a small minority of financial planners. This recognition reflects Sam’s commitment to providing a high-quality and personalised service to his clients. Sam is passionate about working with clients to understand their goals and aspirations and providing the tailored advice to get them from where they are now to where they want to be.

He moved to Yeadon, on the outskirts of Leeds, with his wife in September 2022. Outside of work, he enjoys keeping active in the gym, discovering new restaurants and coffee shops, and following his favourite sports – particularly football and Formula 1. Sam is a keen traveller and particularly enjoys South East Asia, where he has made multiple trips to countries including Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. However he now has plans for South Africa and South America. He’s also a big TV fan, always making his way through the latest TV series but maintains that nothing will ever top Game of Thrones.
