Colin-Campbell

With three young daughters, Colin appreciates first hand the importance of financial planning.

Having moved into financial services after studying Philosophy at university, Colin draws on his early studies by continuing to question and challenge preconceptions. His advisory career began in 1999 with Standard Life, during which time he advised corporate clients on the implementation of their employee benefit programmes. He later moved on to assist private clients with their planning needs as a Director of Innovate Financial Services, which he helped to build into one of the leading financial planning firms in Edinburgh. Colin joined Progeny in 2019, when Innovate was acquired by Progeny.

Colin has developed his expertise and skills over the years, in particular gaining specialist knowledge of retirement planning. He is also a qualified Pension Transfer Specialist.

He has developed his own understanding of risk and reward through his hobbies of climbing and adventure running, and often finds himself applying the principles in his advisory role.
