At Progeny, we believe that we all have the power to make good things happen. We want to use our success as a catalyst for making real change in the UK and around the world. We support a number of charities that are close to our hearts, whose details can be found below.
Our Chosen Charities for 2018
Dreams Come True is a national children’s charity that works to enrich the lives of children and young people with serious and life-limiting conditions aged between 2 and 21 years old. Over the last 26 years, Dreams Come True has fulfilled the dreams of more than 5000 children and young people to meet their heroes, enjoy amazing experiences, visit special places and more. They also provide specialist items such as disability trikes, wheelchair swings, sensory equipment and technology.
Based in Boston Spa, north-east of Leeds, Martin House Hospice provides family-led care for children with life-shortening conditions. Their mission is to help children and young people with a life-limiting condition, along with their families, to live well and fully, offering the best possible end-of-life care and support to the family in bereavement.
St Luke’s Hospice is the local hospice for Harrow and Brent. They care for people whose illnesses are no longer curable, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life during the final stages of their illness. Staff and volunteers provide a friendly and supportive environment in which everyone feels welcome. All of their services are offered free of charge.
Horatio’s Garden is a charity that creates and cares for beautiful accessible gardens in NHS spinal injury centres. Leading garden designers develop the stunning sanctuaries for patients and their family and friends, creating an environment which becomes an integral part of their lives and care whilst spending many months in hospital. Progeny supports the garden at Salisbury District Hospital.
