Jacob joined Progeny at the start of 2021, as an IT Support Engineer. He has had a great interest in tech for most of his life and has been working in IT roles for the past 5 years.
Having previously worked in a start-up company, Jacob helped his previous business transition into an SME, by implementing, building and managing services to reduce admin work and increase resolution time for users. He played a key role in its development, as well as being a friendly face and point-of-contact.
Jacob also has significant experience in managing uptime and overseeing the maintenance of hardware heavy-heavy servers, most with over 2tb of RAM each. His vast interest in computing means that he enjoys working with high spec systems and allows him to deliver first class solutions.
When not working, Jacob likes to spend his time playing guitar, playing games on his PC, reading, running with his dog and snowboarding (when he can).
