Topics up for discussion included the future of face-to-face advice, making the digital transition during Covid and how clients will assess how advice firms acted during the pandemic.

Neil said: “The world is now closer than it has ever been and by embracing technology we’re coming together in different ways.

“The world has to work out what it wants post-Covid. Do we want to go back to how it was or embrace this new way of working?

“We are closer than we have ever been to our clients and more effective in the way we communicate with each other in the business.”

Speaking about the future of the financial advice industry, Neil added: “Now is the time to stand up, come together and create a proper profession. Let’s share best practice and educational resource, and reach out and do this together.”
